Cookies policy and GDPR
Cookies are used to adapt the content of websites to the user’s preferences and to optimize the use of websites. They are also used to create anonymous, aggregated statistics that help to understand how the user uses websites, which allows improving their structure and content, excluding personal user identification.
Do cookies contain personal data?
Personal data collected using “cookies” may be collected only in order to perform specific functions for the user. Such data is encrypted in a way that prevents access by unauthorized persons.
By default, the software used for browsing websites allows by default to place “cookies” on the end device. These settings can be changed in such a way as to block the automatic handling of “cookies” in the web browser settings or inform about their every transfer to the user’s device. Due to the change in regulations, we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data and the rules on which it will be done after May 25, 2018.
Why do we process your personal data?
We process your personal data because it is necessary to perform the contract, including:
- setting up and managing your account and concluding transactions;
- shipment of products ordered by you;
- handling complaints and returns;
- handling inquiries and notifications that you send to us (e.g. via the contact form);
- transaction security management and customer service

It is your personal data that is provided to us for the purposes of the service we provide for you.

Your rights to CADvantage regarding the processed data
CADvantage guarantees the fulfillment of all your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, i.e. the right to access, rectify and delete your data – if your data is incorrect or incomplete or not necessary, or you withdraw your consent to processing;
- the right to limit their processing of your data
- the right to transfer data;
- the right to object to the processing of your personal data;
- the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in relation to the processing of your personal data – the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
We do not use profiling.
Your personal data will be processed by our company, but in accordance with applicable law, we can transfer the information to entities processing the orders on our behalf.
Information about recipients of personal data:
Your personal data may be transferred to:
- IT company,
- A courier company,
- Accounting office.
We must also disclose your data to entities authorized to obtain data on the basis of applicable law, e.g. courts or law enforcement authorities (when they make a request based on an appropriate legal basis).
Right to withdraw consent
If you come to the conclusion that you do not want your data to be processed in our organization, you can withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. You also have the right to access your data, correct it, as well as delete or limit its processing.
The processing of your personal data must be based on an appropriate legal basis in accordance with applicable regulations. If you want us to provide you with services, the legal basis is the necessity to perform contracts for their provision (including purchase and sale contracts, service provision contracts). Data processing for marketing purposes (e.g. newsletter) or adjusting the best offer addressed to you according to your interests (profiling) will only take place with your voluntary consent.
Right to be forgotten
In accordance with the regulations, we will not store your data without your consent or after its expiration, and we do not want to limit your access to the content we send you and temporarily limit your consent to the newsletter, therefore your data will be used until your consent is revoked.
Consent to the processing of personal data
After reading the above information, I consent to the collection, processing and use of my data now and in the future, in accordance with Polish and European law,
in particular with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (general regulation on data protection) GDPR for purposes related to receiving the newsletter.
